Project Zeus is the solo project of Dan Lawrence, one half of the acclaimed duo Volatile Cycle. With a razor-sharp focus on cutting-edge sound design, Project Zeus delves into the darker corners of drum & bass and breaks, crafting music that’s both grim and electrifying.

Bridging the gap between neurofunk and neurobreaks, Dan’s work under Project Zeus explores a more personal and experimental vision - where haunting atmospheres, gritty textures, and thunderous low-end meet precise, high-energy rhythm. While the sound is unflinchingly heavy and dystopian in tone, it never loses its forward momentum—driven by infectious grooves and dynamic arrangements that keep the dancefloor locked in.
